Stream smarter, save data on iPhone while on YouTube!
For iOS (iPhone) Users:
✅ 1. Turn on Data Saving in YouTube
- Open the YouTube App
- Tap your profile picture
- Go to Settings > Data Saving
- Toggle Data Saver ON
✅ 2. Choose Lower Video Quality
- While watching, tap the three dots or gear icon
- Select Quality
- Choose a lower resolution like 240p or 360p
✅ 3. Download Videos Using Wi-Fi (YouTube Premium)
- Save videos for offline viewing
- Ensure you’re connected to Wi-Fi before downloading
✅ 4. Turn Off Mobile Data for YouTube
- Go to Settings > Mobile Data
- Scroll to YouTube
- Toggle OFF to block mobile data usage (Wi-Fi only)
✅ 5. Disable Auto-Play
- Open YouTube
- Go to Settings > Auto-play
- Toggle it OFF to stop videos from playing automatically
✅ 6. Monitor Your Data Usage
- Go to Settings > Mobile Data
- Check YouTube’s data consumption
- Turn off mobile access if needed
