TARIFF REVIEW- VAT JANUARY 2026

1. Why has MTN decreased its tariff?

Ans: MTN has reduced its tariffs because of the VAT reforms by the government of Ghana

2. Will this tariff decrease affect all MTN products and services?

Ans: Yes, all MTN Products and services have been reviewed in price or the benefit received at purchase. This includes bundles, IDD tariffs, roaming tariffs, pulse bundles, Adwumapa bundles, Afa bundles, Yello biz bundles, device prices, etc.

3. Is the tariff adjustment a regulatory requirement?

Ans: Yes, this is a requirement under the new Value Added Tax (VAT) Act, 2025.

4. How much will I pay for my calls on MTN and other Networks if I do not have a bundle?

Ans: The new pay-per-use rate for calls is:

Ans: The tariff changes will go live on 2nd January,2026

8. Will all the volume for existing MTN bundles increase?

Ans: Yes, the volumes for the bundles will be adjusted

9. What happens to my active MTN bundle that was purchased before the changes took effect?

Ans: Bundles purchased before going live will remain same, new bundles purchased after go live will have the new benefits.

10. Are these changes applicable to postpaid numbers?

Ans: Yes, the tariff adjustments will impact postpaid products and services
