My Own Pension

My Own Pension Scheme is a Tier 3 mobile Pension and saving product for subscribers in the informal sector or those who want to make personal pension contributions towards their retirement.

Registration process is via Mobile Money

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

1. Dial *170#,
2. Selects 5 for Pensions and Insurance
3. Select 4 for Pension and Investment
4. Follow the prompt
5. Create a 4 digit pin

Withdrawals can be made from the savings account after 1 year, whereas withdrawals can ONLY be made from the Pensions Account after 5 years

• Eligibility is open for people aged 15 and above 

Subscribers can contribute a minimum of:

• GHS 1 Daily,
• GHS 5 Weekly
• GHS 20 Monthly

 TO CANCEL/DEACTIVATE

Customers can now cancel the service by themselves. Please find procedure below:

1. Dial *170# 
2. Select 9
3. Choose 1 for ‘my own pension’
4. Choose 5 for ‘more’
5. Select 9 to cancel mandate
6. Choose 2 to confirm cancellation
