How do I switch LTE/4G on my handset

We want you to get the most from MTN’s LTE Network. In just a few short steps you can access faster speeds and superior coverage - see below for activation details:      

For Android devices;

1. Select “Settings" from the phone menu.  
2. Select “Connections" or "More” followed by "Mobile Networks".
3. Select “Preferred Network mode" or Network type".
4. To activate LTE, select “LTE/WCDMA/GSM Auto” or "4G/3G/2G Auto

For iPhones;

1. Select “Settings” from the phone menu.
2. Select “Cellular/Mobile Data”.
3. Select “Cellular Data Options”.
4. Toggle to “Enable LTE” to turn LTE on.
